Full-Service Design is composed of three separate phases: Design, Product Procurement/Pre-Construction, and Installation. We’re obsessive in the best way about the project management piece of your home. We’ve got the skill and experience to make this process efficient and—most importantly—enjoyable for you. Afterall, the only way to get a truly tailor-made home is to nail each and every detail along the way.

"We are over the moon with our new space! The whole process has been so easy (for us anyway) and enjoyable! We're forever grateful."

- Sharon, The Parrish Kitchen

The Design Process

We start where all good ideas begin — with curiosity and conversation. We get the details for your project, your style, your goals — the works!

We launch your project with a Design Consult — a working meeting in your space to discuss the entire project and create the full proposal.

This is followed by a questionnaire (or two), measuring and visioning, along with setting up your personalized client portal. Your client portal has all the fun stuff in one place — emails, Pinterest boards, final design plan — we want you to be able to keep an eye on things and stay organized as we move through your project.

Behind the scenes, we are synthesizing all this information to create your gorgeous design plan — creating floor plans, visual concept boards, furnishing and accessory sourcing, designing any custom cabinetry and millwork — all as we curate your design presentation for review and final approval. If your plan involves construction, we may bring in our trusted partners at this point.

In general, you can expect the design process to take 6-8 weeks from measuring to presentation for two-three rooms or a single room renovation. Whole-home design will take up to 6 months and may be presented in phases.

After your design is approved, we move into procurement and pre-construction. Procurement is a fancy way of saying shopping, which we all love. So we get busy ordering all the materials for your project. But there’s more than just shopping in this phase. Elevations, spec books, and other pre-construction concept documents are created to help your GC implement the vision. These documents supplement the plans created by your architect to bring your home to life.

If there’s a time our clients cry happy tears, it’s during the installation phase. This is where we deliver and personally style all furnishings for your house. White glove delivery comes standard, and we don’t rest until everything is in the exact right place. For construction, this includes the final walk-through of the project. If we’re doing professional photography, that will happen during this phase.
