The Grove House

Some of our favorite projects unfold over time — a room here, a room there, each one building on the last. The Grove House is exactly that kind of ongoing collaboration with an eclectic, creative family who has been updating their Oak Park home with KMI room by room.

So far the project has taken on the kids' bathroom, primary bathroom, and laundry room — three spaces that get heavy daily use and deserve to be as well-designed as any other room in the house. Each space was given its own distinct personality while remaining clearly part of the same household. Bold tile choices, thoughtful storage solutions, and playful details reflect this family's spirit without sacrificing practicality.
