The Columbian Family Room

The project included a complete reimagining of the kitchen and the renovation of two bathrooms, carefully balancing modern function with the home's original character. Rich walnut cabinetry, hand-glazed tile, natural stone, and unlacquered brass were selected for their warmth, craftsmanship, and ability to age gracefully alongside the historic architecture. Throughout, handmade materials introduce depth, variation, and a sense of permanence that feels true to the home's era while supporting contemporary living.
